As has been mentioned in this list before, you can add String as a primitive type by adding it to the Java Addin key of the Rational Rose NT registry setting Rose->AddIns->Java-> FundamentalTypes.
For J2SE java classes, you can put the rt.jar in the projects specification's Classpath. This will allow you to load your class.

Hi,

The rational site is pretty good , also the books on UML by Rumbaugh, booch and Jacobson is excellent.

But the best way would be from the desktop version of RUP (Rational Rose ).

Anyways, can somebody pls help me with this prob relationg to Reverse Engg in Rose:

The scene is I have a java file with certain instance variables of type int, String, Hashtable etc.

I am not able to get a class in the model because it cannot resolve any Wrapper/Object classes like String, Integer, hashtable.
