Hello all,
I am using Rose 2000e and am having a problem foward generating code
for a class (RoleType). The class contains only a set of string
constants, but when I forward generate, I get the following error:
------------------------------------------------
15:44:27| Starting Code Generation
15:44:28| Component C:\dvlp\src\java\com\organization\RoleType.java -
Starting code generation
15:44:29| WARNING: Class Logical View::com::organization::RoleType -
the name of one of the class' roles is not a valid Java identifier
15:44:29| ERROR: Class Logical View::com::organization::RoleType - a
name or type which is a valid Java identifier cannot be constructed for
one of this class' roles
------------------------------------------------
I can forward generate code for other classes, so it doesn't appear to
be a project setting.
I also tried to create the class in JBuilder (compiled it to make sure
it was valid) remove the original class from rose, and reverse engineer
the new java class in, but I still get the same error.
The warning comes up when I perform a syntax check, so I assume the
error is caused by the warning.
Im not sure what it means by the "class' roles" ?
Has anyone seen this error before? I am at a loss.
Thanks,
Pete
