John,

I tried this out in Rose 2002, Data Modeler 2.0. You're right. However when
I assign the Domain to a column, I can override the domain and uncheck "Not
Null" for the column and lose the NOT NULL constraint in the generated DDL.

I know that's not entirely right, but it appears to be workaround for now.

Yours,
   Greg

Subject: (ROSE) data modeler: domain "not null" not sticking

Hi.

Using Rose Data Modeler 2.0.

While creating domains, I'll UNcheck the "Not Null" property and click OK or
Apply + Close.

When I reopen the domain specification, "Not Null" is checked.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

-John
