Gustavo,
Errors in schema reverse engineering
or when doing a compare operation are most
often caused by schema syntax which is not yet supported by Data Modeler. To discover what may be causing the
problem use the following
steps:
1. Export the schema to a SQL
text-file.
2. Reverse engineer from the SQL file instead of the database. Errors will be shown in the Log window. Yours,
Greg

Hi,
I have too many errors with Data Modeler comparing an existing schema
with a Sql Server 2000 data model.
The data model has 424 tables.
In several occasions Data Modeler raise a Null pointer
assignment.
On the odd occasion anyone had use Data
Modeler?
Thanks, Gustavo Javier
