I have a couple of questions / comments about the proposed decomposition in Views and Models of the standard RUP Rose Model Framework (Rose 2002): - Comment # 1 - Isn't the "4+1 View Model of Architecture" supposed to be applied? In this case why is the "Process View" embedded by default in the Design Model of the Logical View ? I believe it should be at the same top level position as the Use case, the Logical, the Component (which should be called "Implementation"...) and the Deployment views are, shouldn't it ? Why isn't it even possible to "drag" or somehow "move" the icon there ? - Comment # 2 - Why give the "Deployment view a special treatment compared with the other top level Views? For example why isn't it possible to create any "Package" under the "Deployment view" icon ? It seems to me a basic thing you may want to do. And, by the way why is the Deployment view" icon different than the others "Views" icons?
