Sorry, i'm a beginner in UML methodolgy and i've a problem with activity diagrams. I want to design an activity diagram in wich some activities start in some conditions but the calling activity must continue their tasks. For example if i've an activity diagram in wich i've some activity and some branch. In one branch (if the condition is true) i want to show the start of another tasks (so i can design another activity diagram) but the main flow must continue after the start of other activity (signal? event?)... The problem that i want to show with diagrams is for 2 or more asynchronous tasks in wich i've a main tasks and (if some conditions are true i want to show the start of another thread)... Can someone help me with some examples?
