Hi,
Wonne!
I know
about this editor. AFAIK it can't let me find out, for example, what templates
depend upon selected one.
And, of
course, I want to see model in UML.
I want
the tool to make some kind of reverse engineering. Imagine you have tons of
legacy xsl files and want to get the overview picture of how this works. Yes,
you can drill deep into code using XMLSpy and investigate all things manually
but if you have model of this little world it would be much
easier.
For
example, templates are simple UML classes with special stereotypes. If the model
contains dependencies between such classes you can Query->Expand selected
elements in Rose to find what templates have to be checked when you want to make
changes in one template while keep it all working.
