Really I'm confused about the usage of the UML notations.
Can you clarify them?
Here are my questions: -
IN CLASS DIAGRAMS,
1.The Generalization notation "--------|>" is used
to show the inheritance relationship between the base and
derived classes.
Can this notation be used to show some other relations?
2. I feel that there are redundancies in the UML notations.
For eg. Can "Association and extend_stereotype" notation be used instead of the
"Generalization" notation given in 1. ?
3. What exactly are stereotypes used for?
4. Where exactly will you use "Association" notation and "Dependency or instantiates"
notation?
Really I need very clear explanations for my questions.
