I'm aware of a couple of telecom equipment manufacturing companies
that have opted for Translationist approaches rather than Elaborationist.

These require special 'translation engines' such as are supplied by
Pathfinder, Kennedy-Clarke, Bridgepoint and Rhapsody - there is
also one supplied with Rose/RT.  (I'm quoting here, I'm not an expert
on the topic).
