Hi Reaney,

You might find that your enterprise component architecture should be a
specification of components and component interfaces. It should be
independent of implementation concerns. Otherwise implementation issues will
make the effort too complicated. Once you have the requirements and the
component specification, derive your implementations from them.

Here's the best source I've found yet on how to create a platform
independent, component specification model. Its a thin book and not
jargon-laden, yet may require several readings since the material is quite
different from what you may be accustomed to.

Subject: (ROSE) multi team members and a single model

HI,

We are in the process of building what look like a model of >800- 1200
elements ( I use this to cover all things that could be included) in effect
a corporate model. To undertake this work requires a team and a single
model. The question is how to manage the work of each of the team members
and control the versioning of the model?
I think that I may have mist a point or two but you get the essence of the
problem.

Any learning gained for your projects?

Many thanks
Ramsay
