Hello Andreas,

Try this:

- go into your registry
- go to HKEY_ON_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE , SourceCodeControlProvider
- if there is not the key ProviderRegKey, create it (add a new string value
and name it "ProviderRegKey")
- give this key the value "Software\Microsoft\SourceSafe"

HTH
