Even when classes share a name, they will still be different classes because they will belong to separate namespaces.
In this case, there isn't all that you or Rose can do automatically to help. As far as it is concerned, you've meant what you've done. You could write a script to help you spot potential conflicts of this type. But once you've identified the conflict, the rest is up to you. Mostlikely, you'll want to manually move the associations, attributes, operations, descriptions and so on to one of these classes and then destroy the denuded class. Actually, the cure of the symptoms is your least problem. The actual problem is that people can independently create classes that should really be one. Making the process less chaotic might be a better way forward. For instance, limit the creation of new classes to a few people who are constantly in communication. If you rely on the tool to bail you out in these situations, it's likely that the tool will get it wrong, then you'll be even worse off.
