I have become heavily involved with describing use cases with activity diagrams for the first time. Using a component of Rose that I am not familiar with brings back memories of the fun I had when tackling Rose for the first time.
Comments so far: 1) When using objects on activity diagrams what does it mean for an object to be enclosed within another object? 2) When deleting relationships between activities and objects, no matter whether you choose 'delelte' or 'delete from model', Rose does a 'delete from model'. 3) As with all Rose diagram editors, don't go anywhere near the layout diagram function. 4) The 'undo' function appears to be even more useless than on other diagram editors. I've even found that using the undo function sometimes attempts to layout my diagrams, so try to keep away from that one too! 5) As with vertical lines on sequence diagrams, the swimlane lines have this habit of extendeding way past the bottom of your diagram, with no way, that I can find, to reduce their size. As with all Rose editors when using for the first time. Tread very carefully and save often.
