Hello

OS:             Win 2000
Rose:           7.5.0103.1929
Rose C++:       2.3

For my application I'm using the Rose C++ Addin for source code generation. Sorry
about this, but it has serval (historical) reason. Editing is done via Visual Studio
6. When using the "Browse Body" and "Browse Header" menu items from the C++ popup
menu, only notepad starts. But I like to start the Visual Studio. I played around a
little bit. These are my observations:

- Double clicking a C, CPP or H file in the explorer starts VisualStudio with DDE
- Setting the SourceView entry of the Rose C++ Addin in the registry to shellexecute
starts notepad.
- Setting the SourceView entry of the Rose C++ Addin in the registry to any other
editor, starts the selected editor. (I tried UltraEdit)
- Setting the SourceView entry of the Rose C++ Addin in the registry to msdn, starts
one instance per file (no DEE).

How can I configure my system, that the browse command starts the VisualStudio with
DDE ?

Regards

Rasmus Debitsch
