Rose can export the model to XMI (a XML format for UML-models).
Maybe you need the XMI-AddIn.
Go to http://www.rational.com/support/downloadcenter/addins/index.jsp (accept the license, choose Rose) and download the "XMI Add-in (updated 2-15-2002)".
On OMG�s website (http://www.omg.org/technology/documents/modeling_spec_catalog.htm) you�ll find more about XMI.

Hello,
i am a student from the Netherlands. I am busy with a research for school.
This research involves a program made by students to generate applications.
My reasearch is to find out if its possible to export from Rational Rose and
import it in our program. Our program can import XML, so now i like to know
if Rational Rose can export to XML and if so what XMLschema does it use.
Can you please help me with my reasearch.
