Subject: (ROSE) Sybase reverse engineering using data modeler
Hi,
For reverse engineering a data model from a sysbase database I want to use data modeler. (Rose version 2000e, data modeler 1.0, NT4.0, only service pack on data modeler for 2000e available was installed).
Choosing "Tools\data modeler\reverse enigneer" the reverse enigneering wizard starts. Now, I have to choose between reverse engineering from database or script. Independent of this choise, in the next step I have to choose the database type. Data modeler claims to support Sybase database, however, the list doesn't show Sybase as an option. According to prior questions I made a ODBC DSN to a Sybase database in the control panel first. This works fine. Still no Sybase database option in the list.
Any help appreciated,
Gerard.
