In Rose 2002.05.20, on w2k OS, I can create a State, Start and End State.
Name them. Ctrl-A to highlight all, and change Font and Font size.
So don't know if I am missing something here?

Patrick,

Would it also be the same for the task of changing the font
for the object's state on activity diagram? Is it listed as
an open defect?

Thank you.

Regarding Swimlane fonts, open defect:

DefectID: 6098 : Change font size on swimlane headings
Priority _______ 2 - High Attention
Severity _______ 3 - Average
State __________ assigned

Marked as assigned but I have no ETA on when this might get
implemented.

Only current workaround, is the one it sounds like you have
been using, namely use text insert tool items (ABC) to
overwrite.

Then it would look more like a data flow diagram - with processes,
data flows, and data storages.

Any thoughts regarding my posting with the question of how to change
a font of the swimlane's header on Activity Diagram?

Thank you.

Good question, and one that I would like to see addressed too.

As a notational thing, if I have two activities writing to the
same object, I will label the connecting line with something
indicating what is being written.

Is this normal?

Les.
