Hello David,
Depending on how much detail you want the published
model to have, you can set, as you may already know, many
settings from the Web Publisher Addin's dialog-box to decrease
the size. If that is still not good enough, there is a
third-party tool that is a subset/smaller version of the
Web-Publisher developed by Clarity Development LLC. You can
download this small Rose addin from the UnOfficial
RationalRose.Com site at:
http://www.rationalrose.com/addins/rose_html.htm
To give you an idea, the resulting published model
from this addin is about 10% the size of that published
by the Web-Publisher addin - but of course, not as detailed.
Note that this addin was written for and support under
Rose98, but I was able to sucessfully install and use it
for Rose2002. You may download and install at your own risk.

Rose's Web Publisher produce a set of large HTML files that capture a model.
It (size) causes a problem for the distribution among remote users.
Also, it is not always feasible to use a web server.
Is there any way or tool to convert a Rose model to HTML file
(preferably, to a single file) with a small footprint?
