If Visio has an XMI-Interface, export the diagram zu XMI. But you should convince him to use Rose. It�s better than multiple tools. Maybe you can give him a floating license for the duration of your project or he would buy one (Modeller Edition is enough). The main problem is the "update" of the model. For looking at the model the WebPublisher is ok (we publish our model to our intranet each release). Another way is using other UML-Tools with XMI-capability. ArgoUML ( www.argouml.org <http://www.argouml.org> ) supports XMI and is OpenSource. Maybe your client can update the model with that tool via XMI transfer between Rose and ArgoUML.
