Title: RE: (ROSE) RE: Naming Actors was Re: (RUP) Subsystem Actor?
Here is what you do for Visio 2000:

1) Export Rose diagrams into EMF.
2) Include EMF diagrams into Visio diagrams, Visio accepts it EMF among many other formats.
3) Select the diagram
3) Ungroup it.  since EMF is vector format, you now have individual components/objects.
4) Edit individual object on the diagram as you wish, including text.

I have not tried it with other Visio versions.

Good Luck!

Subject: (RUP) Exporting Rose Diagrams

I am currently working with a client who is hinting at wanting to update Rose business models (business use cases and activity diagrams) in the future. Although they are extremely impressed with Roses modeling capabilities, they have no plans of purchasing Rose in the near future.

Does anyone know of a way to export Rose model files (diagrams) to Visio for editing?

Thanks.
