Actually, this may not be such a bad idea for my needs. I document my use cases with activity diagrams, using activities to describe each of the steps in the use case flow. Since the steps are numbered it could prove useful to have a custom attribute to the activity which lists its step number.
If anyone else has any information on a SoDA script for doing this, it would be most welcome.
