Rational Robot, and the complete Rational Test Studio, actually allow you
to buy "load testing" modules that let you simulate hundreds of users. See
your rational account exec for details. Here's the details I
have:
FYI I checked into using Robot for load testing and found the following: 1) Robot can do load testing (Rational calls it Performance testing) 2) Have to buy " Virtual Tester Pack License" to do this. A pack can simulate 5, 50, 100, etc up to 1,000 users (I called Rational to obtain pricing)2) There is online docs that describe how to do this. In brief: - Use TestManager - Menu, File, New Suite - At box (wizard), click on "performance testing wizard" - What computers, your local (can run load from one local PC) - Click next, select test scripts (script of VU type), add to list - Start Up window, click on run manRegards,
