The usual approach is to create one sequence diagram for each outcome (scenario). It is also usually beneficial to identify the scenario in the name each diagram to
If you find that several scenarios follow the same path you might reduce your potential for duplicate maintenance by refactoring the common behavior into a separate sequence diagram that is linked to the others using hyperlinks. To hyperlink in Rose you first create all of the diagrams, on the diagram FROM which you are linking create a Note into which you drag and drop the diagram TO which you wish to link.

Hi,
I need to show to possible outcomes from a single input event on a sequence
diagram, Can any one please help.
On a Activity diagram this event can be captured by a decision box with an
event going in and two alternatives coming out.
I would like to carry this forward to a Sequence diagram in Rose.
