Hello, When I last wrote about this mail list migrating to RDN, I stated that May 31 would be the last day to post messages. That day is being delayed because of some recently surfaced bugs in RDN discussion subscription functionality.
Currently some users are experiencing the flow of email from subscriptions suddenly stopping so that they no longer receive the posted messages. Others who have subscribed are not receiving any email at all. Until these issues are resolved, we will not turn off the existing legacy list (on which I am writing now). If you have experienced these kinds of outages, I'd like to hear off-list from you. Please send details to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and let me know: 1) Was the problem with a new subscription? If so, about when did you subscribe? 2) Was the problem with an existing subscription that had been working? If so, about when did it stop working? 3) Are you subscribed via digest or individual emails? 4) Are you subscribed to any other forums and were they also affected? 5) Has the problem magically corrected itself (without your intervention)? We have some reports that manually unsubscribing and resubscribing may correct the dropped subscription. While we work to correct the underlying problem, please consider taking those steps to restore any interrupted subscriptions. Please accept my apologies for any problems that these bugs are causing.
