Hello, I am writing to update folks on the RDN subscription problem and subsequent delay in terminating this majordomo list.
I am happy to report that we believe we've now fixed the error that was causing people's RDN subscriptions to stop functioning. The solution went live on our Production site Friday night. So anybody who had subscriptions that had stopped working should have seen their subscriptions functioning again by Saturday (May 31). If in fact that isn't your perspective, please do write me with the details of your situation. Please accept my apologies for the difficulties this bug may have caused you. So our transition to RDN is back on track. We haven't yet set a final date for this list to cease operations, but it is likely to be the week of June 16. As I wrote recently, you should stop posting new messages on this list and pickup the conversation on the RDN forum. Details about the new system were contained in my May 22 note, and I'll repeat the vital points below. Thanks in advance for your help in making this transition a smooth one. Sincerely yours, Marc Siegel RDN Community Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED] 408/342-4774 ESTABLISHING AN RDN ACCOUNT In order to participate, you will need to get established on the Rational Developer Network (www.rational.net). Fill out your selections and click "Save". Your browser will return to the previous page where you'll find that the envelope icon in the Subscribe column will have blackened. You will then be sent email when postings are made to that forum.
