If you could make a Roseanne special, what would you have the characters doing now? This should be fun. Ok, This is what I would have the characters doing... Roseanne and Dan are retired but they are working part time off the books. Roseanne makes money selling things on Ebay and Dan works part time as a handyman. They have 4 cats that they got when all the kids left the house and are still happily married. Becky is divorced from Mark, has 3 kids (2 girls and a boy) and she is living a middle class life and her character is similar to Jackie in the way that she cant find a good man to marry. Her kids are similiar to herself, DJ and Darlene when they were small. She is living in Landford not far from Roseanne and Dan. Darlene is still married to David who has become a famous cartoonist and she has become a veterinarian because of her love for animals (remember, she loved animals when she was little). They live upstate and have 1 child. DJ has become a psychologist and is a single parent. He has a son who reminds us of the young DJ and he is always wondering if his son is normal or not, the same way that Roseanne and Dan worried about DJ when he was a boy. Jackie is remarried to a man that she just adores. She finally found the happiness she never had in the past. She has 1 son, is a stay at home wife and mom and she earns extra spening money from working with Roseanne selling things on Ebay. Her husband looks amazingly like Dan (LOL). I think that would be hysterical. She lives across the street from Roseanne and her husband and Dan are good friends. Roseannes mother is now remarried and happily bossing her new husband around but he is content with it. Crystal is a widow now living a content life babysitting for her grandchildren. Lonny has a crush on Becky but she is not interested, he lives in Lanford too and he is a salesman like Ed used to be. His brother Ed (remember she had another baby) is married and living somewhere in Cali. I would leave the others out. But all these years later, where is Roseanne working? Where is Jacking working? Who is she with now? Did she have any more kids? They could have Becky and Darlene and CJ with their kids too. Or, like you say, a reunion show where they watch clips and talk about their experiences would be good too. I'd like to see either one or both of these ideas.
