For those not speaking English or not speaking it well it's better to listen to a dubbed version then having subtitles keeping their eyes at the bottom of the screen at all times. For those good in English the original is certainly more enjoyable. I envie people living in a country where the language is English or subtitles are used. For me more or less the only way to watch the original is to buy DVDs. In fact that is the most important reason why I do that. Believe it or not, if Germany went from dubbing to subtitles there would be a major outcry from 90% of the population.
