Hi, I think there's some issues with the midi port routing. I'm using a usb midisport 8x8 and testing with RoseGarden 4-08.5.
Tracks Remap Instruments Device Choose Source Destination 72 Rawmidi 1 Midisport 8x8 72 Rawmidi 1 Midisport 8x8 With this configuration, RG makes its midi out available to 8x8 port:1 through 8 [1]. However, it should only be available at RoseGarden Sequencer port:0. There's no way to configure RG to restrict its output to the required ports. Correct me if I'm wrong but the reason this is a problem is because when any other route is configured on the 8x8 RG's data is also flowing through that route. If any other sequencer is running, RG's data will mix with that sequencer. In addition the RoseGarden Sequencer port:0 can only be routed to the 8x8 port:1. So, if we wanted to route its data to midisport_port:8 which is a physical device on the front of the 8x8, we can't. Notes: 1. It's actually sending midi out to every available port including virtual midi ports and I guess it should do that.
