Said scheme being to use a repeating segment. However while working on this 
I've been stumped on two problems :

- should that segment be stored (in the Document's configuration or in the 
global one ? Or both, the first overriding the latter ?) or be generated ? 
(I'd go for storage - much simpler)

- how to deal with time sig changes ? We can't have just one segment in that 
case, can we ? A possible solution would be to have a time sig / segment map, 
so when the sequencer enconters a timesig, it switches from one to another.
