Hello! I'm doing rosegarden testing again, in the hopes to find bugs and
improbe usability, so far I have foudn the following bugs in the cvs
version i downloaded tonight, I couldnt test much because
some of the bugs make it really hard to work.
I also have noticed that several menus and config options
lack icons. I'd gladly do some if I am given a list of places
that need them.

Cheers!

Juan Linietsky

Bugs/Usability:

Main Window:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Bugs:
-Something is very wrong with the tempo, I change it and i see the playback
cursor moves faster, but the playback is STILL 120 bpm.
-While copynig segments, the notes remain being drawn on the background

Usability:
-Would not be bad to add a "tracks" label on the track list, just to orient
the user better
-Multi block drag+copying would be enormously appreciated. If i select
5 blocks, then i ctrl+drag.. all 5 of them should be copied/dragged
-It's not clear that to edit the track name one has to double click,
since any mouse clicks bring the same popup. At least a little
icon with a pencil or a [..] could be more useful?

Piano Roll:
-=-=-=-=-=
Bugs:
-Right clicking over an event causes the edit toolbar icons to move right by a
pixel (strange indeed)
-Shift-cursors selection is broken, it starts selecting events from the wrong
place.

Usability:
-Is there a keybinding to switch the default octave when entering notes with
the PC keyboard? (as in, octave up/octave down)
-How can i change the velocity on two events that are triggered at the same
time? This is needed specially to write drum lines . It seems to happen
if i select the event and then do shift up-down, but i'm not sure if this is
the simpler/proper way to do it.
-Even thought "playback pointer to cursor" and opposite are good, i'd like to
suggest some more "useful" keybindings:
*Play song
*Play from cursor
*Play from begining of segment
*Play selection
Since these are the most common operations that one performs. At least
have them assignable as keybindings, since they are common in many
other music programs.
