Ok, finally got around to linking up the control parameters to the control rulers. So instead of having a single controller ruler for adding multiple controllers you now add the controllers themselves through the control dialog (Studio) and then you can add these specific control rulers to each view (unfortunately the views don't remember which rulers are open on each one yet).
I've added a default set of control parameters to the autoload.rg - so for example load a blank document, open a matrix or notation view, add a controller of your choice (say Pan) and then right click to insert events.
