Erm, forgive me if I'm barking but the ALSA client stuff seems a little borked. On the other hand it could be correct and I've just got confused or ahead of myself.
On a new ALSA client connecting I'm sure studio used to offer (0.9.1) a new (Rosegarden) device at the gui straight away. If this was later shutdown then the device would hang around and the connection would simply drop from it. At the moment I'm running the sequencer in a terminal and bringing up and down fluidsynth. I don't see any new devices appearing although I can certainly create a new device for myself and add the connection manually. BTW does anyone else (i.e. Chris) think that the apply sub dialog on the device manager is a bit annoying? I know it's not a simple job to keep these things synced but I just thought I'd say it anyway.
