Ok, these features are basically all in progress with bug reports pending with some additional work required from all of us on mmapper stuff. Audio does just about work at the moment in certain controlled conditions but CVS is pretty flakey still (you'll get sequencer crashes too I would imagine). Some other basic things like playing from the middle of an audio file doesn't work. The drag and drop stuff I know about, the dead space on the end of audio files I know about too. MP3s aren't supported yet (well you can import them according to the audio filemanager but the decoder lib doesn't do anything yet or even parse the file headers). These problems are all in hand and I'm hoping that audio will start to stabilise in the next week. Check out the task_lists/1.0_release.txt file for more up to date status on most of these issues. > The other feature I can't seem to find which I'm sure > I remember reading about on this list is being able to > draw lines on the segments to alter things like > volume, panning, cutoff etc. Is this in progress or am > I making things up? Yes, you can do that now. Open up a matrix or notation view and go to View->Add Control Rulers. You can paint individual controller events on this ruler by using the right mouse button - alternatively select the "draw line of controllers" option and then use the mouse to drag out a straight line of controllers to insert on the ruler. There's a couple of small bugettes with this feature too (also logged and pending attention) but they pretty much should work. You can add your own new controllers on the main window Studio->Manage Control Paramters..
