No, I just didn't want to remove the final reference quite yet until we
knew what we were doing next.  We still need the notion of a fetch time
at the sequencer despite the fact that we now don't need to know it or set
it at the GUI.  We should always be using a latency value like this to make
sure we've topped up the ALSA output queue before it runs out of events.
