I'm aware of Swami, which I'm told can edit SF2 files, but that seems like a rather long-winded, faffy route if I ever wanted to use a sample under RG. I'm presuming there is a softsynth that will quickly and easily let me load samples as RG instruments, without going to the hassle of creating a .sf2 file first? Any recommendations? I'm not really bothered about this personally, it's just I know that when RG hits 1.0 and I'm trying to convince my mates to switch, someone will ask how to do just that.
Also, I was flicking through Linux Format today and it had a feature on that recent Linux expo in London. Rosegarden and Bownie both get a mention, and it talks of the 'weird music' they were playing to demo RG. What sort of stuff were you playing at the expo? dan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
