MIDI didn't work out of the box on my NFORCE2 machine under MDK 9.2 and it was only today that I finally found the time to re-compile the kernel with MIDI support. I'm running 2.4.23 now but the latest ALSA release didn't work properly for me so I had to go back to ALSA driver 0.9.8.
First thing I did was the RG 0.9.5 release tarball. It compiled OK and I played back a MIDI file no problems with it but as soon as I saw that the scrolling playback bar jerk its way across the screen I instantly got todays anon CVS code only to find it still happens. I'd imagine this is going to be a QT or KDE thing as it only started happening when I switched from RH9 over to MDK 9.2? dan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
