I just got the machine with KDE 3.2 back up and going, and tested it on there. It still doesn't work, but for a different reason -- the rc file ends up with all the right stuff in it except for one line saying Number of Entries=0 When I add an entry by hand, I get all the same stuff except that this figure is (as you might expect) 1. For the KDE 3.1 machine, the question of whether the key names are the same or not is pretty irrelevant since nothing at all is being written into the config file by Rosegarden. I suggest not worrying about that, since it does work for 3.2. (Although perhaps fixing it for 3.1 might also have some beneficial effect on general settings amnesia.) Anyway, I've committed a likely fix for the Number of Entries thing, though I haven't actually had a chance to test it yet -- the KDE 3.2 machine is very slow.
