In the notation editor, it is possible to write annotations on a score
using the "Annotations" type of text label.  Unfortunately in printed scores
and in any of the paged-layout modes -- "Continuous Page Layout" mode and
"Multiple Page Layout" mode -- annotations usually overlap the staves.
For example, open the file "notation-for-string-orchestra-in-D-minor.rg"
which is included in the RG distribution in the notation editor and
select a paged-layout mode from the "View" menu.
Observe that 18 of the 25 different annotation boxes overlap the staves.

Suggestion:

If the gaps between staves were adjustable then either RG or the user
could increase the space between staves to be able to fit the annotations,
as in RFE #998281 "Notation: Gaps between staves to be adjustable"
