I dislike it, it bites me often, it's especially evil when you're already recording something, it's always inconsistent, and I consider it a bug that I think should be fixed. I opened a bug report for this: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=743142&group_id=4932&atid=104932 It has "fix for 1.0" priority and it's been sitting there for over a year now just waiting for some sign of opposition.
