Now I have pmidi! And rg :) And guess what: pmidi works just fine :(
NOTE: I downgraded alsa from "whatever-is-in-2.6.9-rc2" to 1.0.6a just to see if there's difference. And there is! Selective difference :) What now?
Does anybody have 2.6.9-rc2 kernel and SbLive!? And does anyone knows what
-mm pached kernel means? Without it I cann't use soundcard, with it I
cann't use modem! Can someone send me an real modem? :-) I'm realy pissed
off!!!!
I would guess it means "multimedia" and has some audio-friendly hackery incorporated.
I would probubly say something even more stupid :)
I could send you a real modem, but I think there's 0 chance it would work in
whatever .yu stands for. It's an external modem with a wall wart for power,
and power and telephone systems are both very regional things. It's unlikely
it could be made to work outside the US or Canada.
