Just now I've built and tested QJackCtl from CVS, and it works great with our new ports.
I've observed only a little issue: RG not only changes port names and creates new ports dynamically, it can also delete ports. When this happens, RG only deletes the port in the device manager, but keeps the old ALSA ports forever.
