I forgot about that, but no, no help here. "no instrument" isn't on the list, and that's what all these things are currently assigned to. No idea why off hand. Could well be because I got annoyed with all the extra BS devices that were on my list, and that annoying bank editor behavior (*) caused me to lose track of where I was, so I accidentally deleted all my good devices along with the bad, then I went back and added just the usual SC-33 one. A lot of tracks had been assigned to things I subsequently deleted, and that might be the root of the "no instrument" thing. (* where you do something, on, say, the fifth device down on the list, and after the action is completed, the fourth or fifth or whatever device is the target for operations, but it appears that the first device is the target... or something like that... I've had a bug out on it forever, but every time I look at trying to figure out WTF is going wrong, I get put off by the morass factor...) -- Michael McIntyre ---- Silvan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Linux fanatic, and certified Geek; registered Linux user #243621 http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/ http://rosegarden.sourceforge.net/tutorial/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
