Still can't, but one thing does occur to me. Having what's what be obvious and visible at a glance has its own merit, and I wonder if it wouldn't be nice to set synth plugin instruments apart in some small way. A slightly orangey yellow perhaps, that's still firmly yellow, but slightly different from the plain MIDI yellow; perhaps a tinge of red toward orange. They're in the MIDI camp behavior-wise, but they're a lot more expensive than ordinary MIDI instruments, and I find I rather like the idea of making it obvious at a glance where the CPU cycles are going in the event something is too hoggish. It's just a suggestion though. Something to do while you're there if it's not horribly difficult, and if you agree it's a good idea. Else, it's probably fine to leave well enough alone. -- Michael McIntyre ---- Silvan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Linux fanatic, and certified Geek; registered Linux user #243621 http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/ http://rosegarden.sourceforge.net/tutorial/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
