It seems that the whole MIDI system for rg is broken on my box: Currently, I
have the famous "no sound at all" problem. Here's a testprotocol.

Testprotocol

-------------
Try record
-------------

- connect vkeybd to Midisport 80:2 with qjackctl
  -> there's sound.

- start rosegarden
  -> it autoconnects to all MIDI-output ports except vkebd

- open the transport control, press a key on the keyboard
  -> it shows up 1 second as IN event and shorter as OUT event
     The event indicator on the left of the track seems to
     have been removed from the GUI, so no feedback there.

- Track 1 is above 80:2 port from my standardstudio from 1.0
  and both LED's are lit. Nevertheless reselect it and
  give it a name.

- Open "Configure Rosegarden" -> Sequencer
  MIDI and Audio OK
  Change "Sequencer timer" to (auto), leave "Ignore JACK transport",
  anything below is deactivated.

- Press the record button on the main window.
  -> Nothing hapens. Output is:

rosegarden (sequence manager): ControlBlockMmapper::updateMetronomeForRecord:
muted=true
rosegarden (sequence manager): SequenceManager::record() - starting to record
AlsaDriver::stopClocks
AudioInstrumentMixer::resetAllPlugins!
AlsaDriver::stopClocks: ALSA time now is 0.000000000R
AlsaDriver::startClocks
AlsaDriver::startClocks: started clocks
RosegardenSequencerApp::incrementTransportToken: incrementing to 2
Profiler : id = CompositionModelImpl::getRectanglesIn - elapsed = 0ms CPU,
0.000005000R real
Profiler : id = CompositionView::drawArea - elapsed = 0ms CPU,  0.000125000R
real
Profiler : id = CompositionView::refreshDrawBuffer - elapsed = 0ms CPU,
0.000213000R real

- Press the Play/Pause button on the transport window
  -> sequencer starts, blue line is moving.

- Hit any keys on the piano -> the're IN-events, but nothing
  happens on the track itself.

Output is
                                  Profiler : id =
CompositionModelImpl::getRectanglesIn - elapsed = 0ms CPU,  0.000005000R real
Profiler : id = CompositionView::drawArea - elapsed = 0ms CPU,  0.000159000R
real
Profiler : id = CompositionView::refreshDrawBuffer - elapsed = 10ms CPU,
0.000290000R real
Profiler : id = CompositionModelImpl::getRectanglesIn - elapsed = 0ms CPU,
0.000005000R real
Profiler : id = CompositionView::drawArea - elapsed = 0ms CPU,  0.000177000R
real

- The record button on the transport window is now sticked in down position.

-------------
Try playback
-------------

- Open a MIDI file connected to 80:2 port

- Press the play button
  -> OUT events seem to be sent according to the transport window,
  but no sound.

- Playing simultaneously along with vkeybd works fine.
