Yes, except that Thomas generally merges our changes in sound.py. That said, 
yes, it's currently not very practical as I have to check for specific 
differences just in case, plus bksys is evolving a lot as it's gathering 
interest from other projects. So generally I update only when there's a very 
good reason to (like a fixed bug, or major improvements).

Indeed. Eventually Thomas wil have to provide for project-specific hooks, but 
for the moment it's manageable.
