Okay,

I've abandoned to update from CVS again, so here I am with a snapshot
from this Monday. There will be more reports soon, but the question
that I'd like to raise now is if it is possible to use more
appropriate cursors for some tools.

1. When a user loads Rosegarden, the tool for drawing segments is
automatically enabled, which is logical. But here on FC4 the cursor
for it is text selection cursor.

2. When a user switches to Eraser, he sees the cursor with a hand and
a forefinger (index finger). Why?

3. When a user opens a segment in a matrix drum editor, he see a
selection cursor.

4. When a user opens a segment in matrix editor, he sees same
selection cursor for all of 4 tools: Add, Move, Shrink and Erase. It
is an unusual way of giving feedback, isn't it? :)

I think we could easily make appropriate cursors from present icons.

Just a few words about indication. I seem to have missed why you have
chosen yellow over red for the tracks to write to. Was it discussed?
:)
