Now that's funny. I put the mute/unmute on there because these are actually
needed pretty often, owing to the lack of a true multi-track solo mode. The
add/delete/move track buttons are also extremely useful. When I have to do
these actions, I do them repeatedly. When I'm done with a composition, I
delete the unused tracks, and then if I want to go back in and add another
track or two, I add new ones back in.

It's much more efficient to click click click and have one action per click
than the old way I used to have to do this. Adding these buttons was one of
the most significant "big improvement for very little effort" things I've
ever done around here.

RMB menu in the studio? I don't understand what you're talking about.

Or... Are you talking about the context menu that pops up when you right
click on the segment canvas? (The "studio" is probably Studio -> Manage Midi
Devices more than anything else.)

It sounds like you are.

I can see a case for getting rid of "default editor" unless that causes other
problems, such as if the enter key is set to trigger the "default editor"
action on that menu. We might could still hide it even if that is the case.

I agree on that score. I've never used undo from here. If I undo from a
menu, in order perhaps to see what RG thinks the action I'm undoing is
supposed to be, then I always use Edit -> Undo (or Redo).

I can see a case for adding paste too, and I think I complained about this
too. Come to think of it, I did, but at the time I complained it was the
first time I had ever used these options, and I've never used them since. I
wouldn't mind getting rid of them entirely.

Different strokes here, I guess. I've never, ever used the tool options on
this context menu. The thing I use it for most often is open in $EDITOR. In
fact, that's all I really ever do with it. I use the context menu rather
than clicking on one of the "open in $EDITOR" buttons on the toolbar. But
someone else might be just the opposite.
