When I use the NotePixmapPainter drawRect() function I get a black box printed on the notation below the measure. Now while this is progress its first not printing the black box above the measure where the fretboard pixmap should be printed. Second I do not understand why when I pass the QPainter as a pointer to my classes why it should lose information before being printed. Stephen
