* Single-clicking on the fretboard to open the fretboard editor isn't a good idea, as it's inconsistent and surprising within the interface at large, and prevents single-click-based options such as selection. Double-click (and ideally a context-dependent right-button menu option, something we lack in general) would be preferable, with single-click retaining its default action (select).
