registerDataBlockForEvent() is called at the construction of a MappedEvent if 
the event's type is a sysex (see MappedEvent.cpp:115).

If I recall correctly, the idea was to store the sysex events' payload into 
those DataBlocks, because the mmap-based code needs fixed-size events.
